For the office scene I will aim to use this kind of lighting and office room. Even though the picture may not show the whole room I will use for this scene where the minister of the interior will be giving the job assignment to the assassin. This style is film noir due to the long shadows and also uses a black and white tone to maybe show a tense or angry mood in the scene.
In the opening minutes to the film the scenes in the office and the assassin will interchange. The scene in which the assassin meets the drug baron will also be alike the office as there will be little light and the film noir style will fit perfectly with the this scene. This emphasis on opposite highlights the difference in the two characters.

When the assassin is walking down the deserted street this is what I’ am aiming it to look like. The empty street will add tension and the lighting will create long shadows for the assassin making him look more threatening and menacing. Also shooting in black and white will make the scene more aesthetically pleasing I believe as not only will follow on the style of the office room scene but also seem more like an old crime thriller even though it is aimed to be in the near future.
The alley in which the assassin will walk down will be bleak and lifeless - this is to create tension in the audience and tot reflect the internal world of the cold-hearted assassin - the street this will also keep the audience guessing what will happen next.
